Edward James McKenzie Cowan Profile, Family Information, Biography

Edward James McKenzie "Ed" Cowan was born on 16 June 1982 is an Australian Test cricketer who has played for the British Universities, New South Wales (NSW), Tasmania, Oxford MCCU and Nottinghamshire teams. He is a left handed batsman.

Ed Cowan Career :
Ed Cowan made his Test cricket debut for Australia in the 2011 Boxing Day Test against India. His choice emulated a season in which, to that point, he had arrived at the midpoint of 64.22 in top notch matches. Against India he turned into the eighteenth Australian opening batsman to score a half-century (68) on introduction. He played in each of the four Tests of the arrangement, opening the batting with David Warner. Australia won the arrangement 4–0; over the four Tests Cowan scored 206 runs at a normal of 34.33, including an alternate half-century (74) in Perth. Cowan had less fortune in the Tour of the West Indies later that year, scoring just a half century. Thus, his position as opener will depend on his exhibitions against the visiting South Africans in November in which he scored over a century with his association with Michael Clarke.

His lady Test century went ahead 12 November 2012, a year to the day following the passing of his coach and previous educator Peter Roebuck; Cowan committed the century to Roebuck's memory.[6] Cowan was reprimanded in the wake of being not able to catch up with an alternate century in the remaining tests against South Africa. Cowan completed the arrangement with 228 runs in five innings, these incorporated the presentation test ton and a half century in the last match at the WACA.

Ed Cowan had an awful begin to the arrangement against Sri Lanka making 4 on his home turf in the first innings. Cowan verified he didn't have an alternate disappointment in the second innings by posting 56 in an opening stand worth 132 with accomplice David Warne.

Ed Cowan Personal life and education :

Cowan is hitched to Australian TV and radio moderator Virginia Lette. Virginia conceived their first tyke, a girl, Romy, in August 2012.

As indicated by the Sydney Morning Herald, Cowan "has a business degree, composed a warts-and-all journal about existence as a cricketer, develops his vegetables, drenches himself in books, and acknowledges advanced craftsmanship and affections music."

When he was called from the SCG Members bar in 2005 to field as the thirteenth man for Australia against Pakistan for five minutes, he declined to keep the rigging he was offered in light of the fact that Cowan did not accept he merited it. At that point, when NSW rashly gave him his slack blue after he was picked as twelfth man for the state's one-day group, he walked into Cricket NSW supervisor Dave Gilbert's office and gave it back, saying he would acknowledge it when he was qualified for wear the top.

Ed Cowan has confronted challenges by expressing in a meeting with The Australian, "Observation is regularly reality regarding choice," Cowan composed. "All through my profession, even as a lesser, I have struggled against an observation that a child who went to a decent school (for his situation Cranbrook) and had a degree must be delicate as spread."
